That would also let him know if there is any difference in completely draining a Targaryen. Maybe that gives him more of a boost if he drains the “soul” or something

Heyy no problem I do think that you should “rebalance” the prizes while keeping in mind not only the “Risk/Reward” ratio as well as the death possibility but also the difference between first place and second place should be WAY more significant. For example if first place gets and skill and something else second place doesn’t get the skill (which would be the best prize) but gets something less valuable.
I just want to quickly thank everyone who has kept up with the book. I also want to apologise for the subpar chapter no matter how much I rewrote or edited it. It never felt right to me and I didn't want to delay posting it. I may update it if I find the time to rework it.

I mean you could also just say something along the lines of “After a loser is clear life or death will be up to the Tower Master” kind of like deciding if he gave a worthy show or not. This would help build his image up as a “God” or “Master” of a realm like the Tower

In this tournament there are only two rules, no killing and no torture. Though I do understand that accidents can happen. It will take place of the first floor until then passage past the first floor does not require beating the boss monster and all monsters on the floor will disappear. I hope to see you there"

I mean for those rewards you might as well just enable killing man. At least for the higher lever brackets I say you’re still holding the players hand too much. You need to get them to value the chances more instead of just making everything seem risk free

Why even reward anything lower than 3rd place?? IMO most second and third place prizes are actually incredibly over rewarded as it is.
Anything lower than third place got some random piece of equipment or some general amount of XP.

Hello readers, I just want to address my previous statement about the legend of Zelda story. I would not be working on it at the same time as this story, it would most definitely be after this story is finished or I at least have all the chapter rough drafts done. My personal schedule of work, family, and other things do not permit me the time to work on more than one story at a time. But this story does have a planned end, I think having a planned end is important in any story otherwise it ends up dragging on too long. I may write past the planned end, but it would become secondary to a new story.

117 Million in population, 80% Vratix, the native spieces, 20% humans. The Vratix was a less evolved species and was slave labour.
