Having read it, I think the China stuff is fine, being Chinese is pretty essential to the character, there are some odd moments, like his gf asking what Chinese name they would give their child. makes no sence to us. But the switching filming locations of Lotr made sence, he tried to film in NZ and got blocked because the filming was earlier and he's not Peter Jackson, A NZ director. Compared to other mtl, its pretty realistic without ccp glazing, he basically views China as a way to make money by exploiting cheap Labor, a bit of nostalgia for the scenery and tries to advance the Chinese film industry a bit, (which so far hes failing at). I think what's more important to delete is all the Grooming shit. Especially delete the Random ass pedophile Japanese ladies. Johanson, Emma Watson, and Natalie Portman, just stop it... Also some small mistakes like passion of christ comes out in 2004, directed, produced and written by Mel Gibson who is predisposed in the novel.
