i just remembered, why ash is hidding his magic? with his magic they would be out of the snow very quickly (i know that is just for a cheap attempt to replace stark with ash and mantain the flow of the fanfic to the original work, but that doesn't change that it feels cheap and more like a rewatch of the original serie)
