I understand what you’re saying, but I just said that Ariel existing is influencing everything around him including the characters, so they will be a bit different, I will not wholly focus on romance in this ff, there’s still a lot of important factors that has to be considered for their relationship to improve beyond just feelings, and Nephis isn’t in love with Ariel just yet, I never wrote it that way, she just likes him and respects him very much. But it still isn’t crossing the "I love you" line. As for Cassie falling in love was totally normal. At the beginning Cassie was just a normal girl living with a normal family, so when she went blind and everyone started treating her like a corpse. Of course she will grow attached to the only person who will notice and talk to her. And the mc is broken because I put the op tag on. Anyway I hope you got what I’m trying to say, but thx for your honesty, it was a little hurtful but hey it was very good criticism.

I admit I made mistakes in the early chs, but after that I think the pace went well. Idk what you expect me to do about the characters. I wrote the way I saw them when I read the novel and this is how they came out. They’re all the same except they are influenced by Ariel in this ff, so if course they will be a bit different. As for tgg he r character development I tried to make it short and decent, I know how readers are, if I made it too long you, yourself would’ve complained that it’s too long. It was fast, abrupt and meaningful. Just how it’s supposed to be. And there’s nothing wrong with being overly cautious, it’s not idiotic, it’s called being smart. We haven’t seen the full world of shadow slave yet so who knows that there’s a being capable of fully erasing him?
