There's only three chapters as of now, so there's not much to go on. Regardless, the book has potential. The story aims to have an interesting take on tech and magic, which it does quite beautifully. Though there were some minir errors here and there, it's not enough to detract the reader from the story. Overall, it seems to be a story with a great structure, and an even greater potential.
First and foremost, let's start off by saying there's many novel things about this...novel. It is a pirate story—something I have never come across in my many days of scrolling through Webnovel. On top of that, it's clear that the author is experienced in storytelling, and that is not only visible from the impeccable grammar and prose, but also from the way the story itself is weaved. Rarely do I ever come across a writer with such abundant(and visible) knowledge in the craft, and hence, consequently met one too many inexperienced writers on the platform. This is a breath of fresh air I did not expect when clicking to read a novel with such a small reader base. I hope the author keeps up the regular chapter releases–as is always the case–and stay true to the compass as she navigates the seas to get to the booty! Highly recommended!
When i first want to write, my english did cause me problems. In Soviet Russia i was strong teacher, my english i know is the best in all of Petropavlovsk. My brother, Mikhail, he say to me, "Falcon you go to America, they make you rich like czar, take many woman as lover, kill many bear". My brother, he is very wise, is greatest toymaker in all of Russia. So next day i wake up, sell my house, say goodbye to wife and children, and go to America to become millionaire. Then in America, I go to job interview and they say to me "Falcon, you are not for the job here, you are not the skills we need, your english is poor like child". I take that man and smash his table, i say "someday i will be greatest man in all of country, your children will wish me their father!". That day my anger is best of me. It is then i know i must learn better english, so i buy book "English Grammer it is for Dummies" by Mr.Woods. Now i am perfect english grammer! One day, I reading books and came across most famous writer. I read book as i stare at rain outside, where they usually keep the rain. Anyway, I now become personal editor of the world most famous author. I can now say success like borat. Thank you, very recommend.
Tense switch. Would be better if it went like "One could tell from his..."

Quite stellar. It stands out from the mainstream because it is a short story that can be read in a few minutes. That is not to say it misses out on delivering anything a good book should deliver. Wrestling with the struggles of life and growth, it shows the beautiful emotions that encompass that journey—hate, joy, regret, etc. and manages to deliver them in staccato blows. A great and long story that spans a life time, delivered in a simple and short story format.
He’s saying it’s nice that Gary is having a character development and has strengthened his mind after his previous encounter.
Mweheheh
On top of that, this would be a test to see how Charlotte and Gary performed in a stressful situation.

Haha, correct both ways
I arrived at the outer ring to find Quinn. I knocked on the door, entering upon not getting any response, to find him sitting cross legged on the floor. I could see him grow noticeably, which was a pleasant surprise as this meant his talent was not meagre.

I haven’t decided that bit, but it might swing similarly :)
Though there's not a lot to go on rn, this is pretty good so far. I can say I haven't seen a starting plot like this, so I'd say it uniquely crafted as well. I like the mc, she's feisty and intelligent. What really gets my gear going, though, is the auxiliary chapter. I can tell the author put a lot of stuff into the power system and worldbuilding, so I'm really looking forward to see all that come to fruition! Overall, recommended read.
