-> Early on, the female main characters (FMC) were Rover and Changli. Should I keep it as both, or focus on just one? Also, I think adding more harem characters might make the story overly complex. For now, I'm sticking with Changli and Rover.

I dont know if its a good idea to bring important characters from another novel without writing that novel first. Perhaps the pacing might not match between them and you give major spoilers, or you have to slow down the pace for the WuWa ff just for the novel to pick its pace up.
