This is such an engaging piece of work that I cannot recommend it enough. It reads like fairy tales your grandmother would recite as a bedtime story, incredibly refreshing and so so so entertaining. The dialogues are like those spoken in old plays and tales, over the top yet don't fray away from the seriousness. The characters and the world, although may seem unrealistic, is exactly the kind of worldbuilding this work needs. The whimsy of magic is also highlighted. It's so refreshing to see a work that doesn't frame magic as a means of sole destruction. 5/5 would recommend.
I feel like the paragraphs are too long. It's nice for some of them to be large, but if every single one of them is so large, it breaks immersion as the reading process seems too daunting. It's an easy fix though. And curious to see how everything develops.
So he's an idiot... Well, can't expect everyone to be like Klein I suppose
In his shock, Elliot whispered the name involuntarily. "Amon…"

? I said you're free to drop if you desire. I don't really care if you do.

Nah I won't drop. As for the Tensura, I've watched the first season and half of the 2nd one. Other than that, I've seen some lore videos on it and the various skill explanations. The power system is well thought out, but it's ruined by how the story itself is given to you. Although it's one of the more recognized isekais, I can't help but find it mid. Lastly, preparations are going great! thanks for asking!
Worst case, I'll just make a new fanfic lol

I don't think that'll fix the issue. To begin with, I didn't enjoy this arc in tog, much less writing it. I feel like that's the real problem here, but the deeper complications are in the progression.
I still have an outline of the major events, but now, the further I get into the tog storyline, the more trouble I have filling up the in between.

I mean... there's not much point to continuing. With the rate he's progressing, he will become the Lord of Mysteries by chap 170. Even if he ascends to godhood, tog just gets negged
Anyway, there's not much I can do to fix that now. Rest assured, there will be an end to this story and it will hopefully coming in this year itself.

right* eye. Amon never wears it on his left eye. Klein put the monocle on his left eye to scare medici, but didn't dare put it on the right one in case Amon took notice.

As a reply to the comment above me, but also to speak directly to the author, I think this is a good decision. OPM and Overlord only truly work because they are heavily focused on the side characters and how they tackle challenges. While OPM plays on a comedic value, comparing the heroes and Saitama's efforts to provide entertainment, Overlord leaves one waiting for the opposition to be crushed through brutal efficiency– both of which, as far as I can say from my experience reading webnovels, are unviable in a fanfiction. Not sure about Eminence in Shadow though.
With this i think i explained the current situation as well found a plausible explanation to avoid becoming op too fast as that would be boring.
