What happened to the club, to Qi Le? Did he get his freedom? Did the club get taken down? What about the mastermind behind the kidnappings of ml when he was young other than the Wen guy? Who was the guy that wanted him gone that was within the Chu family? What happened to the esports investment, who was the "Axe..." teammate? and so many more unanswered questions. The story was hurrying to end. There were so many potential plot points that could have been explored but were swept under the rug. It was disappointing as this novel really was a fun read. I could tell that the author just gave it an ending for the sake of having an ending as it was very abrupt but I didn't mind it that much, what I do mind is that the issue with Qi Le was just brushed away, I hoped he would be free from the club but all I read was ml saying that he would handle it and the club will not be implicated. The mc even said she'd dig up dirt of the club, but it wasn't shown that she did or didn't. I just need to know if my Qi Le is OKAY! FREE! AND HAPPY! Qi Le...
I just have to say... I have a feeling that Conrad likes Nadia and Gwen knows about it. If I'm right about this, I just hope that the author won't force Gwen and Conrad to be together because that would be unfair to Conrad. Being inlove with your fiancee's bestfriend but cannot do anything because of an arranged marriage, even worse when the person you like ships you w/ someone else. Although we know that Gwen likes Conrad it is unfair to force Conrad to feel the same for her if he doesn't. Idk I just don't like it when characters are forced to love because the main character ships them. It's just sad. If I'm wrong about this love triangle then ok but pls don't force them to be a couple, forced relationships are hard to read, it would also force me to quit the book no matter how great I was enjoying it.
