Unfortunately, his power had been artificially capped. Otherwise, if he could tap into the strength he had the second time he returned to the Third Dimension, cutting down these trees would have never been an issue in the first place.

I believe it was shown back in the Dimensional Cleanse Trial World where Leonel first ascended to the 4th and 5th Dimensions that Star Fusion: Combustion’s reddish-orange coloration was a representation of Star Fusion literally burning itself hotter and faster as he forced it to crank out more power, and that in return he drained himself faster. Now that we’re 1800ish chapters ahead, I’d believe it’s safe to say the Destruction Sovereignty of his Scarlet Star Force also partially correlates to the reddishness of Star Fusion: Combustion.
The beautiful blues became a furious red. His body emitted waves of steam as he swept his spear cross.
