Technically it’s now thought it’s gohans form of spiritual mediation that gave him enough mental fortitude + l having elder Kai awaken his spiritual power lead to him unlocking his beast form so maybe chi chi was lucky so -1 of my +11000 hatred for her character

To be fair a lot of ancient slavery was better than Americas (rubber and sugar plantations are some of the worst places to be a slave) slavery by miles to the point it was more indentured servitude hell the slave who built the pyramids where paid (poorly but paid)
