you can match up in other ways like if he gets a other item that boosts his training speed or his understanding of certain stuff having like one item do everything is always kinda boring and the journey to getting stronger is enjoyable but if it’s too long it kinda sucky you know. Also don’t let him turn into some guy who can do like every type of fighting or magic like let them have one thing like swords or magic

the story is alright its a normal cliche nothing crazy but the main probelm is that 50 chapters in he hasnt even tried to get rid of his magic problem in the slightest not even a mention and in the few fight scenes we do get he jus uses tools he bought to do the job very lackluster very meh and the story isnt really even progressing its jus like meh the only intersting thing so far was the exam and besides that its jus like reading nothing
