It really seems like this Scavenger will become an echo! I've been wrong many times, but I'm pretty sure this time! The Scavenger has a relationship of some sort to Sunny, is a strong fighter, and he's having a tough time besting him! That sounds like the other shadows he got!

This novel just keeps getting better as you read it! It adds more things that make it more interesting and engaging. The progression is interesting, constant, but not lighting fast like most system stories (which isn't a bad thing). The most interesting thing is the imagination. The characters often retell others what they did, and then you realize how fantastical it all was. But the things the characters go through are also very grim and harrowing.
Sunny just can't win.
