Yes.

In the midst of the vast, lifeless area, a woman could be seen dressed in a simple white toga that had small green ornaments. Although her beauty was divine, her most outstanding feature was her aura, a very unusual aura of peace and warmth.

No, in the future he will have a change of appearance and become “handsome”. However, there is still a long time to go before this happens.

No, it is not. This is because both are two completely different myths. In the case of the myth of Zagreus it could be said that it was Zeus himself who wanted to make Zagreus his successor, this in a voluntary way. Subsequently, Hera conspired against Zagreus which resulted in the death of this last one, until he was basically "reincarnated" in the son of Zeus and Semele who was called Dionysus. Now in the myth of Zeus and Metis things are very different, this because from the beginning there was a prophecy that stated that the second son of the relationship of Zeus and Metis would dethrone his father. It could be said that Zeus would be dethroned by his own son, as he once did with his father. So not wanting to suffer such a fate, Zeus swallowed Metis making the prophecy could not be fulfilled. Although in the end Metis was able to give birth to Athena, but this second child was never born and therefore Zeus remained as the king of Olympus. In short, both are different myths that have no relation between them. I hope this is enough to answer your question.

As for the second reason, this was much more special than the first. This reason was related to a prophecy told long ago by the Oracle of Gaea. It mentioned that the second son of the union of Zeus with Metis would have the power to dethrone his father.

Well, it could be said that he has two notable powers, the first of them that perhaps does not fall into the category of power, would be his great affinity with the forge while the other would be that he has some control over fire. In addition to this it can be mentioned those that a god has by default, as could be super strength, super speed among others. What you mention about magic is something that I totally agree with you. In fact, in this chapter it was seen that Hephaestus endowed the bracelet he created with the power of shadows so that it could have the same capabilities as Hades' helmet. Anyway, Hephaestus will learn magic among other powers, but that will be in the future of the story. Finally, thank you very much for your suggestions.

It depends on the myth, sometimes Hephaestus is just ugly and for this reason Hera throws him out of Olympus, this having as a direct consequence that his leg becomes crippled. Although there are other versions where Hephaestus was born with these defects and for this reason Hera ends up throwing him out of Olympus.

The little newborn was ugly to the point that even if he were judged by mortal standards he would be considered unattractive and that would only be at best. His dark skin was very different from the usual luminous white skin of the gods.

No, he is not.

Where once there had been warmth and a small hint of love was beginning to be replaced by coldness and complete hostility. Although the little boy did not fully understand what was happening, he could tell that he was in a dangerous situation.

That is very simple to explain, since on the cover it is the future appearance of Hephaestus, not the current one. The current appearance of Hephaestus was described in previous chapters, but to give you an image you should imagine that the golden lines that run down his body are similar to open wounds added to the color of the skin of Hephaestus makes it less than graceful.

Well, I mean in the previous chapter it was mentioned that they both considered Hephaestus to be too young to know. Besides, it was implicitly stated that the existence of other pantheons is a well-kept secret, one that Hephaestus must not even have known about until he is older. Also, I don't think at any point I made Hephaestus grateful for being an ignorant fool, he simply understands that both Hera and Athena must have had their own circumstances for them not to tell him and that's it. Although this again probably sounds like excuses to you, anyway, thanks for sharing your opinion.

A change in history, no matter how small it may seem, could lead to the destruction of the line traced by the destiny. Hephaestus, the Ugly and Pathetic God of Olympus. The Greek God of Fire and Forge. A highly underrated and somewhat forgotten god, that is Hephaestus. But as mentioned before, a simple action can change the course of history. In this case, a series of events that culminated with the love of a mother overcoming the momentary anger and frustration. How much will history change because of this? That is a question no one can answer. ---------------------------------------------------------- English is not my mother tongue, nor do I have a mastery of its grammatical and syntactical rules, so some people who place great importance on those aspects may not find the story entirely enjoyable to read. The word or concept of transmigration is somewhat common to some and completely unknown to others. For some people it could be an opportunity they would not pass up. One not so common person has that opportunity and ended up in a completely unknown Marvel universe, however, when he woke up, he was not in the body of one of the heroes he knew or even a random person. He transmigrated into the body of one of Spider-Man’s enemies, Norman Osborn the Green Goblin. Will he become a hero who fights for good or will he be a villain who seeks to conquer everything in his path, or will he walk in a fine line between the two, not a villain but no a hero either? His story in Marvel is just about to begin. ---------------------------------------------------------- English is not my mother tongue, nor do I have a mastery of its grammatical and syntactical rules, so some people who place great importance on those aspects may not find the story entirely enjoyable to read.
