that building on fire had it's doors activated, if I remember correctly
Wielding blast doors are reinforced doors that close upon sensing wielding activity in the area. They're connected to a sensor that searches for wielding-caused electrical disruptions. Before the electrical flow totally runs out in the event of a wielding activity, they trigger the blast doors to fall and lock the area. That means all inside the vicinity will be trapped.

thanks dude
who knows 😉
"What if I trip off and die in the middle of it? What folly that would be, for the last of my kind to die such a death. The ancestors would storm the earth. Fear not, I am already feeling better. They patched me up at the springs last night, and I will go find a more lasting solution to the problem after we get your sword back. Now concentrate to the task at hand, we have a situation to deal with. Lahaina's suns will surely kill off what enemies they find lying around, and our forces will probably only manage to catch the small fry of Banian's forces. Our task is to bring home a bigwig from Banian's team, so he/she can admit to the murder of Governor Matins, and we can free Samuel Pearson. Did I summarize that well enough?"

although even I'm not sure if she really does 🤣
I know why she's against me joining the subjugation team. I'm emotional, I let my feelings get the better of me. That's the difference between her and me, I'm emotional, she's rational. I'm a feeler, she's the thinker. She would never do anything irrational, her every action is calculated to the minute level. She's above her emotions, or shall I say, she doesn't have any. She can see any situation from an objective point of view, free of any lenses or prejudice.

Lais is 24 and Elen is around 21
oh, it's a mix up. sorry
I can somehow understand why he did what he did. A misguided sense of justice. Siding with the enemy to take down what he believes to be a greater enemy. He must have thought there was little harm in siding with The Last Covenant to get rid of the greater enemy. However misguided his judgement was, he believed he was doing the right thing, and he eliminated the world of evil people. It did not matter much that he himself was cast into the dark underworld.

Are there? Never really thought about it. Maybe I should challenge myself and use a name starting with Z instead.
