My theory is that there will be a sort of end of the world event where all gods will manifest their power in the material world in some way. I think this day is what Fenrir refers to as Ragnarok. Maybe other gods refer to it as something different depending on their pantheon.

1-2 hundred chaps of backstory per main character is a tall order, looking forward to it
In addition, each and every main character who comes into play will also have their own "Arc" dedicated to their backstory. It helps add more depth and motivation to those same characters and helps build up on the world I'm seeking to create. Each and every arc should last about 100 to 200 chapters give or take depending on chapter length, story direction, pacing, so on and so forth.
