Author, let me give you some personal advice (you can ignore me of course of you wish so). Writing a lot of A/N all the time breaks the immersion of your story completely, you don't have to spoon feed us explanations all the time, let us (the readers) figure out what is going on.
(N/A: It's because of his past life's influence, but that doesn't mean his personality from this life is gone. He's just confused right now.)

Interesting. Now the next question is, where there other races before the assuras that reaches that level of power? if so, what happened to them. I do believe that TurtleMe could expand on the TBATE universe much more than what he has already established, personally I would like to see a prequel, about rhw origin of the assuras and other such races.
But those tales were older than Epheotus itself. Hundreds of thousands of years had passed since the presumed existence of the so-called race of Wraiths. Only exaggerated tales and questions remained.
