If you still haven't decided yet on love interest i have an idea. Why not let the godess have a human form and make her the love interest. Why? Fot multiple reasons: 1) Akira mental age is higher than is body's, as such he is mentally too big for kids is own age but biologically he doesn't fit older women. Having the godess as a parthner will be good for him. 2) He is too powerfull, as such he doesn't really have an equall, i found it better if he date characters with equal / higher status. 3) He doesn't have to keep secrets from her, and as we all know, secrets in relationship are recepie for trouble.
