I’ve tried my hand at writing, and I can say it’s really easy to fall into the trap of telling not showing if you don’t actively try and avoid it. It’s even hard for me to tell the difference sometimes, so I try not to judge it when I come across it.
He was among Hydra's best and had come up with a new and unique serum. He figured if they couldn't replicate the original then they should make something new. However, the material required for this was especially rare and usually failed to synthesize 98% of the time. Causing them to limit production down to only 5 vials and if what this scientist just said is true then that means everyone else died. Leaving him as the only survivor.

Don’t act like you haven’t seen the show bro, chances are they’ll send a single or at most a few viltrumites that are stronger than Nolan and those guys will want to fight him, or at least if they’re not interested in a fight they won’t destroy the planet when they learn about mark, humans are still important to them so they can create hybrids.
Holding Mark in his arms he considered dropping him and giving chase but he knew Nolan was already far. Yeah, he could catch up but it looked like other people also wanted some explaining if the jets heading his way were anything to go by.

Pulling it out he revealed a short dagger that looked to have a middle point along with two extra points on the guard. The design was a little unusual but he had made it in inspiration from another dagger from a game he used to play. In that game the dagger was a bit of an OP weapon that was meant for assassination and his dagger would serve the same purpose.

I was being brutally honest here. The other members of the guild will not show up here. They had already terminated their accounts. I held no hopes or illusions of their return like Momonga at all. If fury was really the type to cover his super teams things then he’d have lots of opportunities to arm himself, with things like iron man suits, the super soldier serum from the power broker and flag smasher, that’s not to say he would use it to arm try protect humanity, he tried the same thing with the tesseract, but it’s not like he’d be hunting down the mc with it. Unless this is a villain mc that’s the only plausible reason besides hydra to not include fury. Unless he’s just selfish, power hungry or just paranoid.
Thinking about his options he contemplated taking this to Nick Fury. The man had everything he needed from funding to scientists and labs but there were a couple of problems with this. For one the place was basically Hydra and bringing the formula there was like returning it to its creators. Getting in contact with Fury was also difficult as S.H.I.E.L.D was a legitimate spy agency and not some police department he could call with a speed dial.
