Also I am not going to change the se---xuality of other canon characters in the story. (Yes, Orochimaru will be kept ambiguous as even I don't know what he is.) I guess if the choices somehow lead to Shinji discovering that, there will be a dice roll as it could be both ways.
Usually I like to be ambiguous with whether someone likes the MC. I mean, it should be clear that Kota and Shinji have a bro relationship even though they're 10/10, Max Relationship, and he even feels idebted to Shinji. Yet they still good bros. Don't worry, I am not going to J.K Rowling this and make Koya ga...y out of nowhere. BTW Shinji is straight.
