Ignoring all the people who are hating, do you think you’ll ever come back to DAFT? Despite what others may have said I really enjoyed the world you were able to make, as well as the subtle hints and lore behind Ash’s previous life and the connections he made. Even if you don’t end up finishing this fic, I’d like you to know that I enjoyed every second of it 👍 and I’d like to thank you for the enjoyment I got from it

I think this is more referring to how she married his father as a way to have an easy life and how that led to both her and her son basically having a nonexistent relationship with his father. Besides being used as a way to deal with the expectations that had been placed on him…tho I ain’t to sure
Fumika knew that Yoshiki just hadn't wanted to deal with relationship problems, and looking at her dating history... she couldn't blame him. She could live without them too.
