If somehow she can see deeper than active stream of consciousness/thoughts, then she may even have some ideas why he would want to be in bed with her, but her logical leap to sordid things shows that doesn’t seem likely, otherwise she might have been able to make the short leap from sharing a bed to Lin Shen’s knowledge/obtaining of the fire seeds.

US grammarians argue that both sneaked and snuck are fine to use with sneaked being preferred usage in formal writing. UK argues that snuck is improper to use. They are both past tense forms of the very sneak, but sneaked is a “regular” verb while snuck is irregular. The difference between regular and irregular isn’t important because it just refers to how the verb is changed to past tense form. Its regular because you just add -ed to make it past tense. Snuck is irregular because you have to fundamentally change the base word to make it past tense by removing the ‘-ea’ and inserting ‘uc’, an irregular (not normal) thing to do. But again both are considered acceptable and correct, grammatically. Personal preferences notwithstanding.

Yes, there’s an obviously gap in translation quality and that is exactly why Super Gene 1 and Let Me Game In Peace read so much better. Super Gene 2 is obviously being machine translated with only a little oversight/after-review(I only say a little because Ive seen books with none, that’s an even further drop in quality).

I think your readers probably don’t mind other novels getting started too much, but probably better to focus on one book that hits right with you, rather than working on several at once. From personal experience, your work quality could suffer, or you could burn out and then release rate suffers. This story has a great setup, I and background, though havent checked out the other stories yet. Just my two cents, thanks for your hard work.
