also a motorcycle enthusiast here! I think you're kinda missing the point through semantics. sure you can go fast while carrying a light load, but this analogy is basing off of the bigger load it's carrying. like 0-60 that bike is beating the breaks off 99.9% of cars on the market. but let's say your bike is pulling a 1 ton trailer, it probably wouldn't even make it to 60. the so called 8 wheeler means it can carry a heavier load (cultivation level) faster than your bike ever could.
Just like the speed of two wheels certainly cannot compare to four wheels or eight wheels.

is it just me or has translation tanked for the last few chapters?
I feel like its definitely been nerfed, however I also believe the nerf is atleast sensible to a point. I agree that I still think his talent should be way more potent than what's been shown. the thing is as his realm grows the things he's comprehending are at such a high level that it does take other beings 10x 100x or 1000x times longer. he's still comprehending things in the span of decades (10s of years) so while it seems long it's only a fraction of a percentage compared to anyone else.
Even Lin Yuan, with his Against-Heaven's Understanding, finds it challenging; other Ninth Rank Evolvers, even after spending hundreds of thousands or millions of years, also find it difficult to grasp the basics of Time's Rule.

actually 9/10 times it literally is the author messing up the numbers oddly enough. the translator just doesn't correct it after the fact. it's something along the lines of like "a thousand thousands" "a hundred millions" etc. in the original language but translates to something different.
One hundred million merit points per person, twelve people would make it twelve billion merit points.
