This is a really interesting take on the thoughts of the members of the devil race. I really love seeing intelligent interpretations of already existing characters and their reactions to an out of context player in their lives. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Amazing. Truly shows Frey's determination and kindness that even if he is fighting a loosing battle, he would do something like sacrifice himself just to get in an edge for a dear friend of his.
This is a wonderful chapter. Please post more chapters like this where Thor helps unravel the problems Odin causes in his paranoia. Also more chapters about Thor spending time with Hel specifically.
Okay, I noticed you didn't say willpower but force of will. Is there a difference and if so what is it?
Seeing Frey exhale a plume of flame each time he moved, Vahn promptly rewrote the Law of Fire within his domain to make her flames harmless. It was one of the Laws Vahn was most familiar with, so unless Frey abruptly developed an Authority greater than his own, even her Dragon Breath was powerless within his domain.

So I have been wondering this for a while. What is Authority? Why does it seem to be more important than willpower and how does one develop their authority? Is it like a muscle that you can train or do you need to do something specific like a specific action to increase/develop it?

What is that image? I took one look at it and couldn't stop laughing.
I like the second option because Spike from Cowboy Bebop had a very epic ending, but if he's going to be a troll like Zeldrich, then no. Messing with the badguy by trolling them to death sounds fun, but unnecessary when it gives them more time to make others miserable. Giving Vahn the confidence of Gilgamesh sounds even worse unless you have him look back on his actions regularly to make sure this is what he wants and he isn't doing something that past Vahn would look down upon. Then the confidence thing would just loop back to his old habits of overanalyzing. So maybe something like the confidence of Samus Aran from Metroid that she commits to a goal and sticks with it. That goal being up to you.
Okay, now it makes sense.
This is very confusing. I know that the scroll in the record of Danmachi was able to trick Vahn because it essentially asked Vahn for a copy of himself to go off of. But what is happening now if it isn't an illusion? Also, how would someone trap him in it?
I can understand where you're coming from Ein. Better having to wait longer for a finished series, than have it never completed because the author neglected their health. Keep up the good work, so long as you never give up on it I will never give up on you!
