I was wrong, the voice apparantly wanted him to let go, because it (?) was slowing the MC down and the others were basically hanging on him. My Bad. In this case the reasoning for letting go would be, because Force equals Mass times Acceleration (F=m*a), which translates to less Mass, less Force (F~m). Or more People would bring more Mass, thus requiring more Energie to slow down. Energie that the voice (?) semingly dosen't have. Or it just wants to be cost efficient.

I think he means to maximize the Area of the body to increase Friction due to Air Resistance. Like when you are skydiving. Putting the arms out to fall slower. In other words, get the biggest crosssection (in the direction the force is pulling you. Gravity=Down, so "parallel" to the ground.) If he would go feet first that would basically minimize the crosssection and increase the speed.

You could go at it from this angle. (BS incoming) Our MC was transmigrated and took over a new body. From that, one could figure that his knowlege is not stored in his body (brain), but in his soul and if someone would use legilimency on him they would just see his "normal" life. So in this case the foreknowlege would come from a second and secure database ergo the soul, which is probably a lot harder to observe. Of course, there would be obvious inconsistencies in his action, but I believe to notice that would require an extensive observation of his mind and character. (My probleme with this one is that, he, following the same reasoning, should have pieces of memories from the original. Maybe the brain got completly destroyed or the soul overrides and suppresses the old memories. Then maybe he has enough time to get slightly decent at occlumency before his soul overrides all the old suppressed memories with his "new" ones. ) That would be the first idea coming to my mind.

"So, our world is a but a fairy tale in your own, previous reality? This will make sorting you a bit trickier." Mumbled the hat inside my mind, which was becoming increasingly disconcerting.

I am speechless. The damage dealt increases by +10 with every cast. In 3 min. he can cast fireball 72 times. By using the Gaussian sum formula (adding 1+2+3+4+5....) and then multiplying with 10 we can find out that he would deal 26280 extra damage in 3 min. But he thought unga bunga plus ten damage a second for 72 second. It must do 720 extra damage. I understand that the explanation was bad and it meant every cast gets a +10 boost, but with the explanation of damage increase pro cast (+10, +20, +30) these two formulas are at odds with each other and I just had to see how much damage he could have done if the damage stacking formula would have been used instead.

Su Chen could rack up to 720 points of additional damage within three minutes!

I believe the problem here is as follows. The MC is born and questions where he is. Because of that he searches for clues and upon hearing his middle name is D. paired with the assumption that he died and was reborn, he concluded that he was in the world of One Piece. Quick summary: -He raised a question -build a hypothesis BUT FORGOT to search for more evidence and made a leap in logic, thus seaming a bit incompetend. I believe that this is by no means unreasonable. He was alone in a dark space for eight months after all and it is quite believable that he would grasp to the first thing that seems familiar.
