No harem. Its not something that fits with the world even walder frey ran one at a time, and he was considered a being of disgust. Also don't see any noble family's marrying off their daughters to a small time noble or Knight as there is nothing to gain.

I think it might be a good idea not to get too deep into the space battles, especially clone wars. I think a faster pace ride though of the current era is needed, maybe building an in system superstructure or two and some politics could be cool. Then, drop back into it right before the establishment of the galactic empire.

No harem for certain. I have never read a harem story, whos quality did not collapse in fast order.
