I assume they’re waiting until the new month hits to start releasing again. Some authors and translators fall into that trend.

I’ll break it down for you. Maybe I wasn’t communicating properly and you were unable to infer that the below is what I was saying. The chronological age of physical existence for their bodies is around 12yo. Their physiological age of their bodies is identical to an 18 yo. Ie their bodies look and function the same as an 18 yo due to early onset puberty and developmemt from the nanomachines (all physical components have matured to include the brain, hormones, etc…). Their mental age and maturity of their consciousness and souls is greatly beyond that due to reincarnation. In the context of the story, no one knows their mental age and the leadership knows their chronological age, but physiologically, their body is for all intents and purposes an adult body, not subject to the same limitations and dangers of an actual physiological 12 yo that has not undergone puberty whose body and brain is still developing. Now, of those, what exactly from that do you object to?

General Tennant had a good reason for that though, a little bit of duty every day builds a habit of training. Once that habit is instilled into the Cadets so well that it becomes subconscious they will continue to do it well beyond basic training and instill it into the troops under their command as well. The fact that most commanders let their troops slack on long interplanetary missions is something that he considers one of the biggest killers of Soldiers in the Kepler Empire.

Because this is a sci-fi/fantasy story and there are psychological and other physiological factors that come into play irl that are not a factor here. Functionally, no one irl has a body physiologically older than its actual age. There is not anyone that experiences true accelerated puberty. Between 12-18 there are continuous hormonal changes, even if physically they appear to look older due to some of those changes. I get it, it feels like I’m arguing semantics and perhaps I am. But what you’re saying is fundamentally wrong and irrelevant to comments from over a year ago.

Do you mean 18 year olds in the military? Absolutely. Do you mean reincarnated individuals with adult maturity? Idk, I doubt it but you never know. Do you mean 12 yos with sci-fi nanomachines inducing accelerated growth and development that physically alters their bodies to be identical to an adult human that has also been augmented for nigh-superman ability? Of course not, it’s sci-fi/fantasy, that’s why I replied that they lacked the frame of reference. You can judge it off our 12 yos irl, comparing them to bio-augmented reincarnators in an Imperial Sanctuoned military camp.

As of Chapter 487, the story switches to another novel the author is writing. It doesn’t even start at the beginning of that novel but right in the middle. It’s been over two months and still hasn’t been fixed. The story up to 487 has been interesting exploring the Dungeon Lord vs Hero Isekai Drama.
