Well, in fact Orihime power has nothing to do with healing or time reversal at all. She is quite litterally saying 'NO' to reality. Her power is to reject an event and as such she is changing reality. Aizen took her because he was indeed interested in her power but more importantly because Ichigo would then go to Hueco Mondo. Soul Society would then send people after him wich mean that they would divide their forces when he and his elites invade Karakura. In fact I'm pretty sure he knew that espada 5-10 were fodders to keep the captains send to Hueco Mundo busy.
