I love all the characters. But what I love most about the book if how YX’s leaving from her first task world is dealt with. It was very mature on her part but the determination and love of all the characters is what makes them the main characters in their own lives. It’s one of my comfort reads and I will surely reread. 😭😭

It wouldn't be a 'life-long commitment' because Baek Gyubin was dying in a year.

Leila felt another pang of sadness because Mason showed an almost tangible level of loneliness. It was like seeing a small kitten being beaten up until it lost its will. Even as a valuable member of the canine family, she did not like seeing kittens harmed.

When will the author continue this? How long will this hiatus last for? I'm really invested . Such a fun story. I had a lovely time reading it. Thank you, author. Can't wait for more updates. Take care!

You couldn't have asked for anything more in this story than what it already gives. It's like an onion and so are the protagonists. You keep on peeling layers with no end in sight. Each chapter, each word works as a hint and throws at you a new question while at the same time giving you answers to questions that might arise in the future in the story. The characters are brilliantly developed and well-rounded. The plot is fantastic and keeps on building up to a crescendo of suspense and interest. The plot-twists leave you holding on for dear life and the face-slapping makes you wish you part of the story, even if that meant getting your face-slapped continuously. Metaphorically, of course. Sometimes. Love this book and recommend it wholeheartedly to anybody who pays enough attention to read this review until the end. <3
