Having a system they will end up being powerful one way or the other, so there is no reason to rush it in my opinion. I would say around or less strong than Tombstone, which should be enough to power lift 6 tons. Even that amount is a lot, and the reason why it's mentioned that Spiderman always pulled his punches or they would be too fatal for regular people.
