I like option 1, and just because you go through the time line and 'stop' at what you currently feel are important points in the time line, doesn't mean you can't do flashbacks later when you start into the DxD events. you already did so with Joan and it turned out well.

Thanks for the chapter. If you're not SURE you want to rewrite them, then don't. It's a big commitment and most people seem to get bored of it part way through and decide to just dropped it all together rather than finish or go back to writing new chapters
