please don't go the route where he just gets every possible power, becomes instantly OP despite being the son of a minor god, and gets some sort of skeleton army/group while nobody just suspects anything.

Certainly I felt a sence of relief now that I no longer have to worry about hitting a wall while cultivating.... but something felt off.
