welp looks like that's me done, this is too petty wow.

With that, a slight resentment appeared in his heart against the Tang duo and he had already planned everything to make their life worse in the future. From stealing the 100,000-year-old spirit bone, Xiao Wu, Ah Yin, and worse, the Immortal Fairy grasses and going to the spirit hall to leak their locations.

Well it's a stolen translation from Wuxiaworld just so you're all aware. Very shameless tbh and I'm sure that this'll soon be taken down. LLL

Ages since I read this in the past, picked it up when it had about 300 translated chapters? Then read the raws and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The start and middle of the novel were incredible, the characters might've been slightly boring but the world building and plot development was some of the best I've read in a long time. It was a breath of fresh air in terms of the characters personalities, no arrogant young masters, no killing and stealing for cultivation materials and no old grandpa's in rings. The cultivation system it self was great, I loved the uniqueness of it all and is definitely one of the things that stand out as a whole. The last cultivation stage was.. slightly boring? Good concept but I just don't think it suited the system! The ending was a shame, like a few of IET's works when he get's bored he rushes the plot out. He could've easily stretched the last 200 chapters into 500 and the ending could've had more to it. Ultimately I think people should always give this a go, even if it's only for those first 400-500 chapters!

Shame about the ending but this still remains one of my favourite Cultivation novels ever.

[Also I just gotta say some of you guys think too highly of yourself and your opinions. Like I don't care you don't like the main character looking like Shanks or some other bullshit like that. Also if you gonna stop reading my story then just do it. Why you gotta let everyone know when you are just a random person online who no one cares about.]

Starts out decent then very quickly takes the tone of the typical nationalism novels, calling China number 1 and everyone outside it barbarians

One day I'll be able to read Cultivation novels without this petty sexism

She simply could not help it. Women had always been more vengeful than men!

It's an IET novel what else can I say? Only gripe I have with it is that it already seems to be going the common way with his novels where there is a slight level of sexism, hopefully it doesn't stay that way for long. There isn't any nationalism and it'll be interesting to see where it goes from here, MC seems a bit average for now but hopefully he gets more characterisation
