the problem here is that Vhagar is still alive when you call Vermithor and silver wing old then Vhagar is ancient while the TV series would lead you there but that wasn't true as Cannibal was said to be older than Vhagar and some say he is just younger than Balarion, i guess Martin sucks with dragon ages but you make it even more confusing i will stop at that not to ruin your writing i actually rather enjoying it
beside blood and fire described Vermithor ferocious and vigorous hence the name bronze fury and described as agile for his size you cant say that to an old dragon
i don't know how you came up to the conclusion that Vermithor would be equivalent to man if fifties i would say he would be mid thirties since avg human age is 72-73 unless you put human age at 100 which less than 0.00001 reach that age so half age is mostly mid thirties.
