I jumped... _____________________________________________________ A little intro to the story: Evan awakes in a scientific research hospital where his 'host' (coincidentally also called Evan - or because of the laziness of the author) has been in a coma for six years. During his coma, the young man dies, allowing our protagonist to gain a second chance at life. The protagonist's soul slowly absorbs the dying and fragmented soul of his host until they seemingly become one. The boy is obviously dead but his lingering regrets, wishes, emotions and attachments vitally affect the way our protagonist will see the world and how he will act. As the soul merges Evan slowly recovers and eventually awakes in an Academic research hospital where he learns of his tragic backstory. This in turn became the driving motivation for Evans's rise in the world. The only silver lining; during his slumber, a powerful AI-driven neural implant has been installed in his brain that will help him fulfil his goals, uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of his father and finally create his own legend. Read to learn the story of Evan and his AI DEIMOS and join them as they set the world alight and craft themselves a legacy that is destined for the annals of history. _____________________________________________________ Features: Violence, strong language, alcohol, explicit scenes (very few, and not very detailed), not appropriate for minors - no one 17 and under Admitted. There is some romance but be prepared for heartbreak as well. _____________________________________________________ Setting: SCI-FI advanced world that mixes technology and a form of cultivation. Humans occupy large parts of the milky way and have some grounds in the Andromeda galaxy. (It's a big story, a big playground) The AI Deimos is the "cheat" Evan receives as the protagonist. It will help him climb the ranks and get him up to speed with general information and later on help him with his research and development. The AI isn't very strong in the beginning but with his self-learning ability, Evans' unbridled use of any resource and keen perspective on the value of Deimos, the AI has the potential to develop into a rather terrifying aid to Evan. _____________________________________________________ Cover art made by ME. CURRENTLY ON HIATUS. During these trying times, I find myself unable to concentrate on writing. I used to relax working on my novels but as of late struggled to get into the 'right state of mind'. For an unspecified amount of time I will be putting this novel on hold. As the sixth of nine children, no one expected much from him or paid to much attention to him. His father, Viscount Thompson, decided to send Theodore away to take control of one of the less populated and more barren cities in the Carmouth province of the Proxima kingdom. His father effectively exiled him. On the road, Theodore contracts the flu and 'dies' in his carriage. Only to be replaced with 21st century Theodore. Now, Theodore has to develop his city and the surroundings, make decisions that impact all of his citizens all the while keeping his secrets - well, secret!
