It's low priority unless someone pays me to get to it.
The point is obvious. Violence.
"My new friend," I grinned at the man with so much riding on Rhaegar's victory, "I'm not talking about marriage."

Cyberpunk isn't about saving the world. It's about saving yourself.
Characters getting dropped into a setting and then basing all of their choices off of surviving has become boring. Its an instant drop for me when characters start talking about all the things they'll do once the big bad is finally dealt with somewhere in the far flung future. It's like people don't even realize that the MC is so feckless that he's putting his life on hold because some bad guy that prolly doesn't even know he exists is rocking the setting doing whatever the fuck he wants like a baller.

I too look for novels like mine. I can't find them, so I have to write them myself.
I'm in good health, but I've transitioned from house hunting to moving and that's sucked out all my free time lately. Also still busy with the whole husband, father, businessman thing. Thank God on that front.
Eh, first story jank. The execution wasn't great, but the idea is fine. Blake has a history of running away, self isolation, and poor stress management. Jaune is a bit of a hammer character. Unless the problem is a nail, all he can do is smash.
Always.
It's been a minute, but I think it was the Skyfire Avenue MC. He had a bunch of stand out moments, but ultimately didn't have enough personality to carry the story for me. Joe Viking was the opposite, he had personality, but his arc was so generic and disinteresting.
The black Core in the Dark Devil God Tiger is a very good treasure. In the original novel, it became Zhou Weiqing's natal core.

Oh you sweet summer child.
Little did I know 'Chum the Waters' would become an unofficial slogan of House Mormont, and one more darkly popular than 'Here We Stand'.
