this is the problem with webnovels, if u are taking so long to move from one arc to another with multiple breaks in between, we don't even know the backstory of this side character. although you have given an overview of his character, please mention it in a footnote of which chapter this happened, so that we will know the entire backstory instead of an overview. all things said I really like your story and wish you to finish it. how my suggestion helps in solving this issue.

I mean, come on nearly 30 chapters just for a single fight, when u haven't even progressed your story that much. at least make some justifications at the end of this fight by giving him some op abilities.
