Chapitre 1055: Owing a Kiss

"Xuanji! Xuanji, where are you?" Lu Jinwen shouted loudly, looking for her everywhere.

As he continued to shout, his heart sank, feeling as though he had fallen into an abyss and he felt cold all over.

He suddenly heard a sensual voice behind him. "Mr Lu, I'm here!"

Lu Jinwen was surprised, he quickly turned back to look. Lin Xuanji stood along the corridor of the villa, the faint lights shining over her.

She just stood there.

Lu Jinwen's pupils contracted, he felt as though he had returned to that very first time they met in the temple all those years ago. She wore a red wool cloak, the color so striking as she stood behind him and shouted, "Hey, Mr Lu!"

Lu Jinwen ran over, opening his arms wide to pull her into his embrace.

Burying his face in her hair, he took many deep breaths to smell the sweet fragrance she emanated as he questioned frantically, "Where did you go? Where exactly did you go?"
