My eyes traveled around the people listening, even the gammas who tried to keep a straight face, couldn't keep their ears from perking.
I am not interested in attending the mating party!

"Please, Xianne. Attend the party. It would mean a great deal to me."
I sighed, opening my mouth to complete my original sentence when he clapped.
"Alright! I knew you couldn't resist the bond."

"The gammas will pick you up at 8 o'clock. I'll deliver the dress of my liking. You must wear it."
