A few days later, Ace had taken Scarlett to Kentucky while Jett and Bella stayed behind to keep an eye on the nosey uncle Marcus. Walking through the screen door onto his rustic back porch, he found Scarlett cuddled into his porch swing with her legs tucked up beside her, reading a book. She looked so perfect as the sunset reflected off her golden brown locks, making a halo shine around her. It broke his hear think how she always looked down on herself. She was beautiful, yet always thinking she wasn't good enough. To him. she was prefect in every way.

Leaning on the door frame, he let the cool summer breeze brush against his face and took a deep breath of the clean mountain air. The view from the log cabin was a sight to see. A rippling creek with a small waterfall flowed at the edge of the property, giving a peaceful sound of nature. The rolling hills and lush forest in the distance, were his happy place.
