Chapitre 219: Chapter 219: The Black Obsidian Five Superstars

"Can I ask anything now that the Ancient One has said so?" Clark wondered, his spirit invigorated upon hearing this. He quickly shared the events he encountered with Hela and the mysterious murder of the prison tyrant Smith, along with the disappearance of a very important necklace.

"Does the Ancient One know who killed that prison tyrant?"

"Where is the killer now? And where is Hela?"

The Ancient One gestured for Clark to follow her into the great hall as she began to speak, "The Hela you speak of is actually an orphan of the Eternal race, also commonly known as a Titan. He was abandoned on Earth as a child and raised by an ordinary couple."

"His nature is not evil, but his subsequent experiences tainted his heart with darkness, making it difficult for him to escape."

Clark listened quietly. His so-called "prescient" ability was not very reliable when it came to Hela.

The Ancient One, without needing anyone to play along, continued, "The necklace you mentioned is actually a piece of Writestone, a substance capable of suppressing Hela's special abilities, also originating from Titan. Because he had been wearing the Writestone, he did not exhibit any abnormalities."

This was akin to Marvel's version of Kryptonite!

A nod to Superman? Clark nodded slightly, finally speaking, "So, finding that Writestone necklace can suppress Hela's powers?"

The Ancient One nodded and, without waiting for Clark to ask further, continued, "After the Writestone was taken by Smith, he was killed using mind control powers, leaving no visible wounds. The person who killed them and stole the Writestone is her!"

As she spoke, the Ancient One led Clark to a globe in the library. After manipulating the globe and casting a spell, an image of a tall, dark blue-skinned woman wearing a black and white suit of armor appeared. She wore a white cloak over her armor, adding a touch of mystery.

This woman was definitely not a human! Although this was obvious, Clark guessed she might be a newly awakened Inhuman or even an alien, with the latter being more likely.

No normal human had such skin color! And such skin color usually meant...

Clark furrowed his brows, speculating, "Is she Kree?"

"No," the Ancient One shook her bald head gently. "Her name is Superstar, one of the Black Obsidian Five under Thanos. She possesses terrifying mind control abilities and is a formidable opponent."

Mind control? Clark, protected by the "Heart-Clearing Mantra," was not afraid, but it was a different story for others.

To avoid trouble at critical moments, Clark felt it was best to locate and eliminate Superstar soon.

"Where is she now?"

The Ancient One shook her head, "If she wants to hide, even I would have to pay a great price to locate her. But until a new Sorcerer Supreme is chosen..."

The Ancient One didn't finish her sentence, but Clark understood her implication. She couldn't help to locate Superstar.

Realizing he had to find another way to track Superstar, Clark expressed his understanding to the Ancient One. Before leaving, he reminded her, "If Omar troubles us again, please notify me in advance. I might struggle against other demons, but I have some insights about her."

Returning to his Los Angeles villa, Clark went straight to the rooftop. In this unshielded location, he looked up at the sky and softly spoke, "Heimdall, can you hear me? I need your help."

Heimdall responded instantly, "Hello, Mr. Clark, how may I assist you?"

With a slight smile, Clark mentally relayed Superstar's situation to Heimdall, asking, "Can you locate this person for me?"

"Just a moment."

After a short wait, Heimdall communicated again, but his answer was, "Sorry, Mr. Clark. I can't find the person you asked me to search for on Earth, or even in the Nine Realms. Either she has left Earth or has some means of hiding from my sight."

Hiding from Heimdall's sight wasn't difficult. His vision, no matter how extraordinary, was just that—vision. A simple disguise could fool him, and it seemed easy for some to avoid his surveillance.

But Clark leaned towards another explanation.

Loki! Loki had means to hide from Heimdall's observation, as seen several times in the movies.

The situation was becoming more complicated.

Hela, Superstar, Loki... Oh my, can't the villains follow the original plot and show the comedic nature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Who knows what other surprises might come next.

Unable to locate Superstar, Clark promptly informed Egghead to prepare S.H.I.E.L.D.

With the enemy in hiding, even Clark was at a loss for a better plan.

Putting aside these worries, Clark decided to focus on his senses and understandings in the spatial rift, immersing himself in it...

...

As the Ancient One said, Earth faced various supernatural troubles in the following period.

First, spontaneously transformed Inhumans appeared one after another, keeping the Avengers busy. They eventually split into three teams to capture their targets.

Fortunately, not every Inhuman was as powerful as Daisy. Many had abilities unsuitable for combat, like Raina's precognition or Daisy's mother's life-draining. They struggled to make a significant impact in combat, especially those newly awakened and unaware of their own transformations.

So, while the Avengers were spread thin, the Inhumans posed little threat.

Five days later, a crisis arose. Captain America's team, including Danny Rand, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Mini-Minty, encountered a formidable opponent during a supernatural crime bust.

Hela! Captain America had grown significantly stronger through gravitational chamber training. If his power was at 2 previously, it was now around 9.5, nearly a fivefold increase.

However, against Hela, this improvement was insignificant.

Hela was capable of overpowering the Hulk. In this battle, Rogers' team suffered their greatest defeat. Even the indestructible Luke Cage was nearly killed, and Mini-Minty's armor was destroyed.

Danny Rand relived his painful experiences of being overpowered before his enhancements.

Even Captain America, wielding his original shield and a 50-50 aura, struggled, barely holding on while Mini-Minty sent an SOS to Clark.

Fortunately, Clark's timely arrival with his teleportation skill was crucial.

However, Clark realized Hela's progress exceeded his own. Hela, naturally powerful and previously suppressed by the Writestone, had not shown his true strength in their first encounter.

After days of recovery, Hela's physical prowess now overpowered Clark. Though lacking in combat skills, he quickly learned and grew during their fight.

Ultimately, Clark's spatial-tearing sword Qi injured Hela.

But the experience revealed Hela's frightening defense and regeneration abilities. Clark's sword Qi, capable of tearing space, only inflicted a deep wound on Hela's chest, unable to sever his sternum. Hela's wound healed visibly within seconds.

Now, Hela's physical strength dominated Clark, but Clark's sword Qi threatened his life.

What if the sword struck more vulnerable spots, like the neck or eyes? Could Hela's body withstand that?

Hela, not willing to gamble his life, chose to flee. His increased flight speed made Clark hesitate to pursue, unsure of securing a safe victory.

To confront this superhuman, finding the Writestone necklace seemed crucial.
