Chapitre 30: The Worst Is Yet To Come

Is he telling me the truth or is this a lie?.

He sighs before continuing "I was always there with you but it hurt so much knowing you were near but couldn't hold you like before,it killed me everyday to see you cry because of me and you didn't deserve it all "he says.

"I-I thought you got tired of me?" I stutter.

"No! That's far from the truth Emma,I never got tired of you and never will I,ever since that day I left I never got you out of my mind even though I tried the possible ways out and slept with different women ,they all meant nothing compared to you and none of them stole my heart like you robbed mine" I look into his eyes and I see the love in them.

"I meant that much to you?" I ask more in a whisper to myself.

"Yes,Emma and I'm sorry I never showed up,I hope that you can find a place in your heart to forgive me."
