As expected, I was met with so much work when I got into the office in the morning. I left Carrigan’s early so I could get in a quick run and be at work an hour before anyone else arrived. I wanted some time to sit quietly, catching up on work. Mandy had left me sticky notes on the papers on my desk. They told me what was to be read, signed, filed away, kept, and used for the app.
A handful of emails in my inbox were flagged, meaning they were from the app team. A Helping Hand was going out for beta testing in the middle of June. Since Memorial Day was over, we had two more weeks. Everything was finally coming together for the app, me, and my relationship with Carrigan.
We might have had a rough start, but we were finally on the right path.
