At school, the Grade 10 and Grade 11 students start getting assignments for their vacation while the Grade 12 students take their exams. Despite the vacation, they are still required to study at home and given school assignments.

Some children complained about this. Others are used to it.

Valerie herself was used to a lot of schoolwork because when she was in junior high school, she often got assignments when the seniors were about to take exams.

"Aahhhh! Why should there be assignments!" some students complain because they want to take a relaxing vacation when grade 12 exams.

They thought that if the seniors in grade 12 had exams, they would be free without assignments but they were not. "Come on, don't complain too much, after all, our assignments are group assignments so working on them isn't as hard as working on your own," Valerie told her friends.
