Chapitre 40: Phase 2

Carter stood in his palace, his mind racing with ideas far beyond the development of a single planet. He had been planning something much bigger—an entire solar system that would revolve around him. But even that felt like just the beginning.

As if on cue, the System chimed in.

It is recommended that the host creates meteor clones of himself to gain mass for his planets and a star clone to gain celestial energy for a genuine yellow dwarf star to power the solar system. The host just needs to split parts of his consciousness into the clones.

Carter smirked, the idea of expanding his reach and control over an entire solar system igniting a spark within him. "Sounds easy enough."

He focused his energy, and in moments, ten meteors materialized before him, each one a clone of his essence. They weren't huge, only about 200 feet in diameter, but he knew they were more than capable of doing their job—gathering mass for the planets he had yet to create.

Next, he turned his attention to the creation of the star. Carter concentrated deeply, feeling the weight of this task. A bright, glowing orb began to form in front of him—a dwarf yellow star, albeit small at just 50 feet. Even so, it was the key to providing the necessary energy for his soon-to-be solar system.

He stood back, admiring his creations as they hovered before him. Each meteor, a fragment of himself, ready to contribute to the building of planets, and the dwarf yellow star, pulsating with energy, prepared to fuel the entire system.

Carter raised his arm, gesturing toward his creations. "Alright, now go, my creations. Become vast planets, and you, my little dwarf star, become a true sun."

With that command, the ten meteor clones shot off in different directions, their trails blazing across the empty expanse of space. The tiny yellow dwarf star hovered for a moment, its energy crackling before it, too, darted off into the distance, ready to grow into the sun that would power Carter's future solar system.

Carter watched them go, a sense of satisfaction washing over him. The seeds of his grand vision were now planted, and soon, they would take root in the cosmos. He turned back toward his throne, the grand seat that overlooked everything he had built so far. As he sat down, he rested his hand beneath his chin once again, feeling the weight of both his power and his ever-growing responsibilities.

"Now... we wait," he muttered to himself, his mind already plotting the next phase of his divine journey. The throne room grew silent once more, as Carter continued to watch over his expanding dominion.
