Chapitre 262: I Wish She Was My Mom For Real

Alex and Ethan were watching TV when Claire finally came home. It was after 9 and she was so exhausted she gave both of them quick hugs before going to shower and sleep. 

"I guess I'll have to tell her about the carnival tomorrow," the boy said with a shrug. "Should we do something for her to celebrate her tests being over?" 

He had been wondering the same thing. She would probably be too tired to go out but maybe he could order her favorite pizza and they could watch Halloween movies that she wouldn't think were too scary for Ethan. 

Alex was willing to bet nothing could scare him but Claire was insistent on age appropriate media. She wanted as normal a life for him as possible as he couldn't really fault her for that. He had been through a lot already both at headquarters and in his various foster homes.
