Chapitre 70: Not So Fast
Feng Xiaoxi was dragged back to the dining area. They passed by Wang Mingye's assistant and the waitress. They are both shocked that their jaws reached the floor.
Wang Mingye headed to the manager of the cafe.
"Lead me to a private room."
Feng Xiaoxi shooked her head furiously to the manager.
The manager of the cafe looked at Wang Mingye then to the guy he dragged with him. He is confused and hesitant but that is Wang Mingye. He wants to cry. If Wang Mingye will do what he is thinking about it will ruin his cafe's reputation and it's also against the law. But they are nothing to Wang Mingye. He can crush them whenever he wants to. He turns to the guy in Wang MIngye's clutches and apologized under his breath, "I'm so sorry sir." then he turns to Wang Mingye and said. "Please follow me, Mr. Wang."
"Hmmm" Wang MIngye nodded and hummed as an agreement.
Feng Xiaoxi looked around and saw her newly recruited groupmates watching in the sideline. She mouthed them 'help' but it seems that they don't understand her.
"Wow, I didn't know that Unnamed is actually acquainted with Mr. Wang. As expected, my idol can't just be a nobody!" Jang Miyue exclaimed.
"My choices are of course never bad," Meili stated while polishing her nails.
Mo Weimei said nothing and just watch at the scene that unfolds before them.
Wang Ming follower the manager to the inner side of the cafe and on the way Feng Xiaoxi keeps shotting the manager a look but he keeps on avoiding her gaze. They arrived in front of a luxurious looking door. The manager opened it for Wang Mingye and excused himself.
Wang MIngye dragged Feng Xiaoxi inside and locked the door. He let go of her and put his hand on his pocket to get something.
Feng Xiaoxi's gaze followed his hand on his pocket. She has no idea what he's going to take out and she can't help but feel nervous. What if this guy is a lunatic and likes to have fun from torturing people?! She's a hacker, not a martial artist! Tho she knows some moves but this guy looks muscular and versed in fighting.
"You dropped this." Wang Mingye took out the flash drive from his pocket and threw it towards Feng Xiaoxi.
Feng Xiaoxi caught it and looked at the flash drive on her hand. Indeed, this is hers. She turns her attention back to the guy in a suit. "This is it? I have to go thank you for returning this to me."
"Woah, not so fast."
