Chapitre 1: Strange Wakening

Konohagakure, Year 72

A young man with raven-black hair stirred in an unfamiliar hospital bed. His mind was a fog as he tried to piece together where he was. Then, a wave of memories crashed over him, foreign yet intense, causing him to clutch his head and cry out in pain. He was reliving a life that wasn't his own.

The door burst open, and a nurse rushed in, her face etched with worry. "What's wrong? Where does it hurt?" she asked, placing her hands on his forehead. A soft, green light enveloped him as she performed a healing jutsu, easing his pain. "The damage from that genjutsu was severe," she murmured. "It will take time for him to fully recover."

The next day, he woke up again, still feeling a strange sense of familiarity and detachment. "Could I... have become a fictional character?" he muttered, incredulous. He swung his legs over the bed and stood up, heading for the bathroom. As he looked in the mirror, his eyes widened in shock.

Staring back at him was a striking face: pale skin, dark hair, and most striking of all, red eyes with a single tomoe in each pupil. "I... I've become Sasuke Uchiha, on the night his clan was massacred?" he whispered, struggling to comprehend the situation. He activated and deactivated his Sharingan, marveling at the power he now possessed.

Then, he couldn't help but laugh. "Hahaha... hahahahahahahaha!" he roared, slapping his forehead. A wide grin spread across his face as he continued to laugh. "Yes, hahaha, yes! This time, I won't just be a pawn. I'll change everything." The thought of being in the world of Naruto was both exhilarating and daunting. He had the chance to rewrite his story, but he also knew that pain and loss were inevitable parts of this world.

The truth was, this wasn't just Sasuke Uchiha who had awakened. It was Igor Ivanov, a former Russian soldier who had lost his legs in an explosion. A huge fan of anime and manga, Igor had found solace in these stories after his injury. His memories of war, loss, and a desire for redemption were still vivid.

As he lay in his hospital bed, lost in the world of Naruto, he had fallen asleep. When he woke up, he was in a different body, in a different world.

"Haha, Konohagakuere? The Will of Fire?" Igor mused, imagining how Hiruzen and Danzo had twisted the meaning of that phrase. "Things will be different this time." He knew the plot twists, the epic battles, and the heartbreaking losses that had shaped Konoha.

Sasuke, putting aside his fantasies of grandeur, took a deep breath. He thought about how he would approach the Third Hokage and the council, especially Danzo. "They probably won't give me many ninja scrolls," he sighed, hearing a commotion outside his room. It was a medic, followed by the nurse who had treated him.

"Hello, Sasuke. It's good to see you awake. I'm Doctor Koruma Yamanaka," the medic said, his voice calm and professional. Sasuke's eyebrows raised at the surname. "A Yamanaka? Great, a mind reader is just what I need," he thought to himself.

"Hello, doctor. What happened to my clan? Where are my parents?" he asked, his voice filled with anxiety. The doctor hesitated. "Look, Sasuke, we'll do an examination first. You've been unconscious for a long time, and we need to check your health. After that, we can talk." Sasuke frowned, unsatisfied with the answer. "Fine."

The doctor conducted the examination, asking questions and using his mind-reading jutsu. "You seem to have recovered well from the incident," he said, relieved. "Can I see my family now?" Sasuke asked, hope filling his voice.

The doctor gave a bitter smile. "Well, Sas—" Before he could finish, the door opened, revealing an old man in a cloak marked with the symbol of fire.

The doctor and nurse stood up and bowed. "Hokage-sama." The old man waved them off. "No need. I'm just here to see how Sasuke is," he said, his voice soft but firm. "Yes, Hokage-sama. Sasuke has recovered well so far," the doctor replied, leaning in to whisper to the Hokage. "But it seems he doesn't remember the night of the massacre." The Hokage nodded, his eyes filled with sadness and understanding. "Leave it to me. Leave us alone."

The doctor and nurse left the room, giving Sasuke a reassuring look. Sasuke was alone now, surrounded by a heavy silence. The memories of Igor and Sasuke intertwined, and the weight of his new reality pressed down on him. He had inherited a life filled with challenges, and he knew he had to be prepared for what was to come.

Looking out the window at the bright sunlight illuminating the village, Sasuke whispered, "I won't be a victim again." He was determined to forge his own path in this new world. "This is my second chance, and I won't waste it."
