Chapitre 18: chapter 18

Sierra pov.

My fear increased as I saw him break free from the chain. My heart raced, and Henry pushed me behind him for protection.

"How dare you kiss my wife?" He yelled, his anger evident as his eyes turned red.

Terrified, I wanted to plead with him, explain that it was a mistake, but I stood frozen, believing this could be my last day on Earth.

As he slowly approached Henry and me, Henry moved closer, and the two of them locked eyes.

Shaking, I stood still, and then his gaze shifted toward me.

"Don't worry, wife. I will take you home."

He struck Henry in the stomach, and as he closed in on me, Henry grabbed a shovel. But the beast stopped him, holding it with his bare hands.

"Do you think I will allow you to hit me again?"

His voice filled with anger, and suddenly, a cold chill ran down my spine. I knew this wouldn't end well.
