"You're right. The king is a strategist in all matters of power, but he is not accustomed to emotions let alone what it takes to be around his son. At this point, he is still trying to figure things out, otherwise, he wouldn't have come to a mere werewolf pack. 

"He is the Lycan king, and he can outsmart us like that. But as a father, he won't ever be able to think that fast. So, we use that to our advantage," Alpha Ashton spoke as he wheeled in on his chair. 

He was still nursing the wounds from his last encounter with his son and he hoped that going forward his son wouldn't have any more tantrums. 

Of course, there was the chance that he begged the Lycans and Zula to fix him up, but the damage that Tamiko had done to him was so extensive that no one would ever be able to patch him up.
