"Is this position right?" Katherine asked, her voice clearly telling how much pain she was in while holding the squatting position against the tree by the side of the lake.

Maximus smirked, seeing her in pain.

That was right. That was her permission for looking so enchanting and alluring that his wolf was going haywire.

"Mm, hold it for ten minutes," Maximus said casually as if it was nothing.

Katherine nearly collapsed hearing his words.

Ten minutes? Even ten seconds felt like they were bringing her close to death. Her limbs were already starting to shake while her muscles screamed at her to stand straight.

"I don't think I can hold it in for that long," Katherine whispered, hating herself for not getting her strength from her previous life.

As Maximus turned his back on her, Katherine looked at her hands, thinking about the same weird green smoke that was emanating from her body.
